Nvidia 3070 8gb

3440x1440 34" screen

Fedora 39 with proprietary drivers KDE with xorg

The performance mostly gets worse when there are lots of z around. I seem to get slightly better performance when using vulcan, but it’s still not anywhere near quite as good as Windows. I’ve not made any tweaks to the install nor the game is there any advice anyone can give to try and improve it?

    Run the game, type nvidia-smi to your terminal and check if game process is listed there or not.

      ok thats weird… I ran nvidia-smi and it told me it was missing ‘xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-cuda’

      installed that and its much improved :-P
