I don’t have access to reviewing game tape and checking all of these next gen stats. But to my eyes and the basic stats I can find he seems to be slightly above average and not worth a huge contract (or let alone keeping over 2 first rounders). He’s tied for 26th in sacks and not even on the first page of PFF DE ratings.
What am I missing or is this another example of Fit/Tepper incompetence?
I’ve watched every game since team was founded and a lot of football in general. I don’t see him as top 10 DE, which is the pay he wants. Hence my question around what other stats are available that I can’t find. What’s his double team rate? Pass rush win rate? Run tackling? Thanks for just another opinion with zero facts.
