We all honestly might have to find a different team if that actually happened.
Plot twist - Russ is actually playing pretty well this year
Hated the trade idea from the very first instant I heard about it. I’ve had my share of shit takes and bad insight but that is one trade that I was incredulous that anyone wanted to make. That is one any fan should have smelled as bad from ten miles away. You don’t trade three first round picks and two starters for a qb getting close to his mid 30s, especially when you have the Bears line blocking ng for him.
That’s because we have yet to pick outside of the Top 3 with Poles.
This is the game being played for mental gymnastics now lol
Russ gets a lot of hate but people forget he was very good in Seattle. Multiple seasons over 4000 yards and 30+ TDs and an average qbr over 100 during his career there. At the time it seemed like a smart move for a team that looked complete minus a QB. It’s easy to look at a move that didn’t exactly pan out a few years down the line and criticize it, but at the time I really wanted Russ and if I recall correctly so did everyone else in this sub.
That being said, boy did we dodge a bullet
