Sorry if this is a stupid question, im just a bit confused. I want to change my username so i go in Namemc to find a name and it says the name is possibly available. The name is taken when trying to change to it on minecraft.net, how can I know when it’s available?

Only Mojang knows the availability or otherwise of an account name for certain. Everyone else is guessing based on whatever public information Mojang chooses to give out.
NameMc dont have all the informations, so yeah give up on the name unless the dude somehow change it or get his account deleted
