My warranty is up so I’m going to take my 21 highlander to mechanic. I just had a couple questions on recommendations:

1. Is it ok to take to local mechanic or should I stick with dealer ?

2. How often should I get oil change ? Every 6 months ? I’m more of a local driver only put about 8k miles a year on vehicle.

3. Anything else I should be doing every 6 months ? When to rotate tires?

I know I can follow manual just looking for advice to take care of vehicle as best as possible .
