Why did you get crap for another teams trade, or did you get crap for commenting on the trade we over paid for? 49rs trade was annoying mainly because it highlighted how much we over paid for a half season rental.
Really comes down how the coaches gameplan for it. There is an answer to it, just depends on if Waldron and crew actually pay attention to who they’re facing.

A lot of our subreddit at the time were not having the idea that we overpaid for Leonard Williams with 2nd round pick, which was fairly painfully highlighted by the 49ers getting Chase Young for a comp 3rd.
In order to resolve the cognitive dissonance, many will have maintained Chase Young is overrated and not as good as Williams. This is likely where the downvotes came from as saying the 9ers have a scary pass rush is implicitly saying they outdid us with their trade.
