So I’m looking to swap an AMD motherboard, cpu and ram from my wife’s PC into my Intel PC as her gear is newer and better than mine & she no longer uses it. Historically I’ve be told I should reinstall windows when a motherboard is changed, but I’ve googled it a bit today and get mixed messages. Some people say you should, some say you don’t have to.

What is the consensus in 2023 with Windows 10 and swapping hardware over?
