I believe we are 1-year ahead of schedule.

When you look at our top pickups, Gibbs & Campbell. I believe they were supposed to “pop” next year as our big run at the postseason (why we signed Monty and Analzone) in the offseason.

Gibbs popped this year and Campbell hasn’t been able to take Alex’s job yet. But I now see clearly that the way this team is structured, those 2 are gunna be what this team builds around for the future. Just a FUN realization.

I mean from the outset this is how I and I think many fans expected of the Lions

1st year: Get 3-4 wins and look competitive and change the culture

2nd year: 6-7 wins, develop the talent, and be competitive

3rd year: 9-10 wins and make the playoffs

4th year: win the division and win a playoff game

In year 2 they got 9 wins. In this year, they will probably get 12 or more and win the division. Absolutely ahead of schedule
