Reposting my (long) summary of his conclusions from the other thread where we were talking about this.

A slightly longer summary: every play, something doesn’t work, and now Bryce is becoming part of that problem.

We have the same problems with using slow receivers that run routes that need a bit of speed, and with receivers just straight up running the wrong routes. The O-Line is marginally improved, but still getting Bryce blown up in the middle of his progressions every fifth or sixth play, as opposed to every three. Chuba’s blocking is improving, but the insane choice to run up the gut and get stuffed every play - and then give up on the run - makes it hard to stress the defense, who mostly doesn’t worry about our pass plays. One or two plays were drawn up nicely but mostly they’re still predictable and way, way too one-dimensional - no motion and the routes are still too static. But now, to add to that existing difficulty, Bryce is giving up even when receivers win their routes and phoning it in with his mechanics so his throws are too high or low.

Every so often, a more interesting, deeper play design catches Bryce’s eye and he does something superhuman, and JT praises it to high heaven. Then the very next play, we’ll be back to running dumb shit like inverted Hank and JT will start groaning as soon as he sees the formation.

We need to start Dalton against the Cowboys. It’s glaringly obvious that the team around Bryce is hot steaming shit. We aren’t going to win that game and we know that going in, so there is no reason to risk our QB who we gave up everything for.
