So far:
-
19-8 record taking over an 8-9 team
-
Greatly improved our long term salary cap health
-
Made great coaching hires and kept the right guys around
-
Made great decisions about what players to cut and who to extend for the most part
-
Have built a winning culture (greatest comeback of all time, 6 game win streak after 1-4 start, 9? Total come from behind victories)
-
Have the roster playing better than on paper
-
Have shown they can develop young talent and get a lot out of their guys
-
Have built a team so deep we’re beating teams with winning records missing QB1, QB2, QB3, The best WR in football, WR3, RB1, RB2, EDGE 2, LB1
-
Drafted players are starting to contribute
-
Not afraid to reflect and make trades
Overall, I am very happy with how the new regime is doing. It hasn’t all been perfect, and it never will. The next 2-3 years will really show what they’re made of, but I have confidence moving forward in this organization
I will never forget passing on a certain safety that had a pick six today in favor of one Lewis Cine
This sub has the patience of a 6 year old. Even when they were 0-3, you could tell they still had a good amount of talent in players and coaching, it just needed time to gel.
