This will probably be lost in the discussion but I’m a purely PvE enjoyer and having a blast with MWZ.

Zombies is the single thing I enjoy about CoD and I don’t mind having to shell out a bit for it every once in a while.

CoD and Battlefield have seen their days they are now dead.

There are multiple war shooters available as well as other FPS games such as The Finals which show a lot of promise coming out soon. Time to ditch these renewable cash grabs.

Is it actually a bad game in practice, or are people poorly voting it out of principle (because it is bad value for money for what it is, requires download of the other games for some reason, etc.)?

Surely, it can’t be that different from the last one with regards to multiplayer, though I’ve heard the campaign is a little disappointing compared to the last two.

I thought Activision said they were starting a 2 year cycle for COD games, as in there wouldn’t be a new game until Fall of 2024.

Off topic: I think it’s so weird that Forbes of all places has such a solid game commentator.

Well, then, now that I think about it, Forbes is a financial publication, and video games are a bajillion dollar a year industry, so I guess it checks out. Still, it would be weird if Jim Kramer started riffing on the latest Mortal Kombat or something.
