Maxey has evidently taken a leap this season, presumably due to Harden’s departure which in turn allows him more touches. He’s scoring at the highest rate of his career, at 28.56 ppg, on a near 50/40/90 splits. Nearly all facets of his game have improved, and it’s safe to say the Sixers are more than happy with the results of the Harden trade.

On the other hand, Haliburton has been producing at an elite level for the past couple of seasons, but seems to have taken another leap this season as well. He’s averaging 24 ppg on 50/40/90 splits, and is dishing out an astonishing 12 assists per game. The Pacers are currently the 3 seed, and it looks like they can be a legitimate playoff contender this season.
