The past few weeks, it seems like every good play Breece had was brought back by a holding penalty (including a TD tonight). Hackett is probably the worst OC in the league. His offense is incredibly predictable and undisciplined.
Everyone watching the Jets offense knows each drive starts with a Breece run on 1st and 10 for a gain of 2 yards due to a stacked box, followed by a dropped pass or penalty immediately killing the drive. For some reason Michael Carter also takes away 3rd down snaps while providing zero value. It’s comical at this point. Not to mention Zach Wilson is a bottom 5 QB in football. He makes a couple good throws a game, but opposing defenses don’t respect him at all.
It seems like every fantasy expert has Breece Hall as a consensus top 5 RB ROS, and his talent deserves that praise. However, unless the Jets offense does a 180 and suddenly becomes competent, I’d argue that Breece’s value is becoming increasingly reliant on him breaking long TDs. What’s everyone else’s thoughts?
Very underrated how much being on a good team vs. being on a bad team is really what makes a RB.
Gibbs and Monty got like 50 combined points today because they’re on a good team. Hall is a better RB than either of them and he barely got 10 points because he’s on a dogshit team.
Just pray for the return of Aaron Rodgers. Or the Jets to bring in some decent journeyman and make some offensive upgrades in the offseason. I really just can’t watch anymore.
