For those who don’t know, the toys r us mascot was the giraffe named Jeffrey, and you’d get a call from “Jeffrey” on your birthday if your parents signed up for that, and at my little cousins birthday party, my aunt came out with the phone saying, “Jeffrey wants to talk to you!”

He got so pumped and jumped out of his seat thinking she said “Jeff Reed,” and he was pouting the entire rest of the party. Pour dude thought we pranked him. Rest assured, we got him a Jeff Reed jersey soon after and are thankful he has yet to square up against any paper towel dispensers.

Anyhow, the recent praise for Boswell and recent Steelers kickers unzipped this memory for me and I figured some people here would get a kick out of it 😂
