Arsenal gave a tough battle until the final rounds last season but the luck just slipped away for them. Do you think this season will be the same and Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham will fight until the very last rounds? Or Man City will clearly win it? Do you see somebody else besides Man City winning it this year?

I think they’ll probably win it again. Liverpool aren’t back to their best yet imo, and due to the Timber injury our defense has the same fragilities it has had 2 seasons in a row where we can’t handle 2 injuries at once

The title race is still early to call. We will only know from April onwards. It’s tight right now; but we have 4 more months. Remember, Arsenal was going to win it until April 1st when everything came stumbling down.

Think ultimately it comes down to squad depth. City have a depth of squad that other teams literally cannot afford. In a 38 game season, with other competitions to play in, that depth is what decides titles. City are absolutely favorites due to that fact, but I think only Arsenal have a depth that could match them (and that’s still a long shot).

Look, I’m biased so I’m going to see it differently, but I think Arsenal have a very real chance. I think Tottenham are in a good position, but depth matters as they’re finding out in abundance now. I’ve scarcely seen a team more unlucky in such a short span of time, so obviously this is the most testing period for Ange so far. As for Liverpool, I still think they’re the best team to give City massive headaches in individual matches, but I think, unsurprisingly, their transition defense stinks and theyre in a false position, for me at least. It’s very much the ‘gung ho’ style of play that I expect would irritate Pep in these matches, but I expect in the latter stages of the season to see Liverpool drop unnecessary points. Arsenal, on the other hand… They’ve gone mostly blow for blow with City in the PL and are showing a level of character and patience that is, frankly, boring. This level of control is such a crap watch, but it is nothing if not effective. Tied in with a great front three that will eventually play, and the return of some important pieces, and voila, they should challenge.
