Yes… this eB as intern HC is just so reactionary nonsense. Why would he want to put himself at a disadvantage… dude wants to work with Howell get him to the point he can be a stud next year. Then he can take over and put his guys in place if he wants the job. Wtf is he going to do to fix the D? A good QB usually makes a good HC… you need your qb to buy into your culture. Why break up Howell’s development? Also I wonder how many more plays the D has played up to this point compared to last year because of the passing focus vs running focus of last year. Hoping eB would implement more running scheme next year when he has developed howell and can spend more time developing the running scheme in the off season.
