Yes I know we very well could lose against the Giants again, but theoretically we’ve got a shot against them.
I think EB is already being evaluated for HC. So far I like everything I see. He’s able to change strategy when something’s not working. He’s able to use his players to the best of their abilities. He’s turned us into a really good offensive unit. He has the support of his players and has a great pedigree. What else do we need? Now I will say let’s wait until the new front office is in place, but I think EB is on a short list.
16th in ypg
16 in ppg
16th in penalties
10th most turnovers
Far from “really good offensive unit.” They are average. Yesterday they did nothing in the first three quarters. Bombed against NYG, bombed against Buffalo, bombed against Chicago, struggled against the Cardinals. They were really bad against the Broncos in the first half. They’ve played well in a a handful of games, but to say they’re really good is just fantasy. Sam looks promising for a young QB, but the WRs have not looked great this year, and the O-line is obviously bad (and it took EB 7 games to come up with a solution to take them from all-time bad to simply bad).
Anyone unaware of Ron’s penchant for winning games down the stretch for the sole purpose of falling in the draft must be new to football.
I can fully tell you rivera will not be fired until after the season. he is too well respected around the league and will look extremely bad on us.
If it happened in Carolina it can happen in DC.
Divisional games are toss ups. Any one can win one game then get blown out the next even with a terrible record.
