Traded him week 9 hoping I was selling high on him with Montgomery returning. Hoping week 10 they were easing Montgomery back into his role and Gibbs might see less work load.

You say this with hindsight bias. It DID look really bad for Gibbs at the time, and it might not have gotten better if Monty stayed healthy

I think Monty was just being eased back in due to his injury.
Gibbs barely touched the ball in the second half, and it was the Monty show the rest of the way.
I think Monty is the clearcut RB1, and he will get 20 touches a week in games where the Lions lead. Which should be most of them.
Gibbs will be TD dependent, and you’ll be banking on him ripping a 30 yard run for a TD, since Monty gets all the goal line work.
