As long as Vrabel and Ran are in charge, this will be the new norm
It is all the case being made to fire Vrabel. Who will then get hired by the Pats.
One of the only bright spots on the defense
“I’m tired of losing,” Simmons said, via the team’s website. “We need to start finding a way to win the game. We need to make more plays on defense, and put the offense in good position. And, at the end of the day, we have to score more points. We have to score points, and we have to get off the field — that’s pretty much what it is. They had 20 points, and we had six. We didn’t do enough to win the game.”
I wonder what the question was to prompt this response. Headline is going to be the money maker, but if this was posted through the team, this was “approved” in some fashion. Please note too that he didn’t have to choose to be here, so this feels like an internal message being amplified on purpose.
Side note: as a quote, it’s simplistic without stating too much…AND VERY DIPLOMATIC.
He started with his area of responsibility and then moved towards the more glaring area. It’s so easy to just go “man, the offense is ass cheeks”.
Then fucking play better. Get your contract and proceed to lead a d line giving up over 5 ypc. Joke.
Try coaching better… sometimes you have to adjust your game-plan!
