I don’t know if Seattle can say they have any quality wins over contending opponents this season other than the Detroit win.
What’s troubling is, if Seattle wants to be considered a top team they haven’t even looked so against opponents that aren’t even considered contenders.
Seattle, isn’t blowing any teams out other than the Giants and even then the Seattle offense was not clicking.
This is rather troubling and concerning if you’re being honest with yourself.
Going into this tough stretch we need to see some quality wins over opponents with plus .500 records because these games will really determine just how good or not good Seattle actually is.
I’m still concerned Seattle hasn’t put together a full game with the offense and defense clicking on all cylinders and that is worth noting.
I catch myself thinking like this all the time, but it’s just not the way that the league works. It isn’t played on paper, and from a talent perspective, there isn’t that much that separates each team, and if you got a chance to play every game 10 times over again, they wouldn’t play out the same way every time. The Ravens are not 34 points better than the Seahawks in general, but they were last week.
In fact, if you played Super Bowl 48 10 times, I am willing to bet it doesn’t end 48-3 again, or even close to that. I have no idea exactly what Seattle is at this point, but I have a fairly good idea of what a team like Denver is, even though they just beat the brakes off of Kansas City. They have to play the games.
