So I’ve been thinking about trade targets for the Sixers. I think the biggest need right now is a playmaker that can run pick and roll when Maxey is on the bench while being at least neutral on defense and a solid spot up shooter.At the same time I think the only way Morey commits to long term salary is if he is getting a real star player.

Gordon Hayward can shoot, playmake (5,8 ast per 36 min right now) and while I don’t watch Hornets games in the past he was a solid defender with length and strength.He is on an expiring contract earning 31.5 million. Charlotte is looking bad right now so he is probably someone we can get unlike other players I like (Dejounte Murray, Marcus Smart)

What do you guys think about him as a trade target and what would it take to get him? I like Springer and still think he will be a nba rotation player. But Charlotte would probably ask for him and seconds if they can’t get a 1st rd pick.
Salary wise Morris and Covington works. I love RoCo but if you think he is better than Hayward you need a reality check. With Melton, Batum and Oubre and Harris there aren’t many minutes for RoCo anyway
