What is up with that playcalling!? Specifically for me, it was how on every second and long, every single goddamn one, we ran it up the middle.
2nd and 8? run up the middle.
2nd and 12? run up the middle
2nd and 20? run up the middle.
Yes, yes, our O-Line sucks. I’m sure as heck not going to defend or downplay how horrible our Oline is or what impact it has. That being said, there was no variety. 2nd and long was a run, 100%, and they were able to pack the box and tee off every damn time.
The thing is for me… the first drive of the game we had some fantastic play calls, it was a solid drive until we got to the red zone. Why can’t we keep that up all game?!
