Here’s a luke warm take.
Last night, Roger said that he aims at coming back mid December. We play the Jets in prime time in mid-late December. He’s a diva and loves media attention so a prime time game would be the perfect time to return. Mark my words.
He’s either coming back that game, or against the garbage bears. It’s be very Rodgers like to come back and beat a bad team and go on a massive media tour about how’s he’s back to “owning the bears”. Go on the PMS the next day and say it’s all thanks to his alternative medicine and darkness retreats.

Just remember what we did to Pittsburgh in 2020.
The last thing I would want to do is let Cincinnati have a game and then have to play Burrow in the first round of the playoffs. The only reason I would rest is if that game has zero meaning for both teams. If we are playing for seeding, then we need to go get the W. I would love to have multiple home playoff games over just one.
