Both the Patriots and Steelers lost their Hall of fame signal callers around the same time. One team is half a game out of their division lead. The other is possibly the worst in league, bringing into question the competence of their head coach, who not that long ago was probably considered the GOAT.

I’ve been watching the NFL since the early 2000s, when I was old enough to actually understand the game. I’ve seen some really amazing seasons, and I’ve seen some pretty bad ones too. But to see our team keep chugging along after losing Ben, and the Patriots basically collapsing after losing Brady, sure makes me not question our powers that be as much.

    Tomlin has done a better job without his HoF QB.

    But with Bill B did with that team is unbelievable. And I don’t think it will ever be repeated if the league keeps the cap and UFA in place.
