I guess it didn’t seem particularly filthy when I watched it, but I might just not have been paying enough attention. What’s disgusting to me is that like 1/3 of their living space is a full on guinea pig compound. It’s great that they seem properly cared for and have room to move around but maybe its time to rehome them while you’re living in these… circumstances.

Where is she going to hang out? He works from Home, looks like his office is in his room. There is no couch, no table, is she going to sit in the balcony? Or in the closet with mom? I feel bad for her, prob will get worse before it gets better.

It’s giving coltee and mom vibes but with hoarding sprinkled in. I feel like these two are really close and while there is nothing wrong with that. His responsibility to his mom is always going to run over his to his partner. People think it’s so cute to have a super close mom/son relationship but like when they’re grown ass men trying to have significant others - not cute.

He needs to quietly be tossing all that crap out of the storage place and taking it to the dumpster. Get mom some mental help.

How did they even approve this guy for the show? He may be sane, but the mom in the closet is something out of Psycho or some thriller that I would be happy to pitch to A29 and make a zillion dollars out of. I mean, you can’t find a convertible sofa for the woman or see if there’s some affordable housing program that would help her with a rental?
