Guess it depends on how much blame you think goes to the OL/scheme versus DP regressing.

I really think pierce wasn’t the problem at all. There was a stat at one point saying the Texans were dead last at 1.8 yards before contact. Still though, we could use a different type like a big bruiser for short gains.

I hope he is active this week. He’d like so well against the Cardinals.

I’d say keep him around another season and see if he can be schemed in. If he fails I’m 2024, then look elsewhere.

You can never have too many good running backs. Texans can throw a late round pick on a rookie with some vision and hopefully a 2nd gear.

If we really wanted to draft an RB I think the best fit would be Trey Benson from FSU cause he has great vision and runs a 4.37, although he’s a late 2nd or 3rd rounder so not really late round, and I think next draft should be focused on defense

I think it’s more about consistency and developing the run game. It’ll take time. I say keep motor and Pierce.

I think we need to chill. Singletary did good against the Bengals, but up until yesterday it didnt matter who was running - it just want good. Pierce and Singletary is perfectly fine combo - we have had a lot of injuries and our run scheme changed from last year

If they can get someone good they should do it. Especially if Henry is available as a FA
