Yeah I’m not ready to put Hutch on the same level as Crosby we have a top O Line and yet see how Crosby caused so much disruption. Idc if you’re facing double teams you have to be able to win them.
It’s not that Hutch is the only good player it is that Hutch had some insane expectations on him. And after year 1 everyone just expected dominance. That is not hoe it usually works. After year 1 the league has tape on you. They know what you are good at and what you struggle with and then will attempt to force you into your weakness whenever possible.
Hutch will need to continue to develop new moves and also continue to get stronger. I have a strong feeling that in 2 more years he will start becoming one of the best Defensive Ends in football
Our defense success is based on our offenses ability to chew up the clock and score successfully, that is why I tire of the DEEP TO JAMO bullshit.
We need to walk that ball down the field slowly, every time and score, while eating up the clock. Now when we are in a rush to score, everything else falls to shit.
Cause right now, we can’t expect our defense to stop anyone from doing anything, except hope their QB makes bad passes.
