Long story short, sometimes my Bose 700 ANC isn’t enough and I need more.

At first I thought about getting some triple flange buds and putting them under Bose, but then I would have to manage two audio devices at once.

What caught my eye are those concert ear plugs that are supposed to reduce the sound volume but not the quality (e.g. Alpine PartyPlugs). Anyone tried something like this? Any other ideas for how to achieve the best sound isolation using more than one layer?
