I know A&M can load up the money but it’s beyond crazy to think he might even consider it. If he were much older and flaming out maybe, but he’s currently leading one of the best rebuilds in league history and a front runner for CotY.
Lions need to sign Dan long term. Now A&M but you know Jerry Jones is going to come after Dan Campbell with his deep ties with the Cowboys and the Jones family. Lions extend and pay raise to both Dan Campbell and Ben Johnson. Pay them what they need to be happy and stay.
I mean, the lions would have to fall off a cliff in order for Dan Campbell to leave to coach college ball.
I can’t imagine any NFL head coach taking any college job. I guess if you were the head coach of like the Cardinals or Panthers and someone like Alabama, Notre Dame, Ohio State, or Michigan offered you a huge contract then maybe you might consider it. But I’m sorry A&M is not one of those very few jobs that has anywhere near the prestige that it would take to lure an NFL head coach that doesn’t look like he’s about to get fired.
