Not based on their performance in this game, but based on their career 3P% (around 30% for both of them). For spacing’s sake, it’s going to hard to play these guys alongside Lively (or Powell obviously).

    Exum will be fine. Even for stretches when his shot leaves him, he can still be quite useful as a legit ballhandler and defender.

    DJJ, I mean in the worst case scenario he’ll be a niche defender on a ~min salary. It’s not a problem. The Mavs also need to figure their new-look offense for DJJ to find spaces where he can be effective.
