The Jordan 1 neutral grey was one of the many OG colorways released in 1984-1985. This colorway was modeled after the prevalent white and grey color scheme many sneakers at the time had, and like the shadows and royals, these could be considered one of the first lifestyle Jordans. This was once a forgotten colorway, until the time aging sneakers became a trend. Posts of 85’ pairs began showing up more often and many wanted a retro release as a result. The neutral 1’s did finally return in 2021. Fun fact, the Dior jordan 1’s were partly inspired and chose the grey color from the neutral grey 1’s.
