I am wanting to order the 2024 BMW 540i xDrive and had some questions. Does the dealership have to have an allocation before the car is put into production? My local dealership is quite small and I rarely see 340s on the website. Maybe every 3 months? If this is the case, I passed on a 540 slot this month and I’d hate to wait another 3 months. What does timeline usually look like on the 5 series? My ‘21 330i was sapphire black and if you sneezed on it, it got swirl marks or marring (always hand washed or touchless). Any difference on clear coat you guys have noticed on the 5?

Lastly is credit which I know wildly depends. My score is 650 due to a dispute I’m going through. Debt to income is much better than their requirements so I am just wondering what you guys have seen as far as financing. Thanks in advance!
