Should Dota 2 have an option to kick teammates like CS and other games?

My answer: Maybe.
On the rare occasion it could be super useful to kick a tinker who is feeding the enemies rapiers out of spite.

On the flip side, the dota community could abuse this system and just kick players more often than they should.

What do you guys think?

    IMO, yes.

For a long, long time - virtually every online game had a kick feature. Yes, some people abused it but it wasn’t all that often and usually it was friends who just wanted to play together.

Also, more often than not people were kicked in the lobby - leading to them being replaced.

mid game kicks, idk if they should exist. i personally would prefer it, as anyone who would kick me for no reason - I don’t want to play with anyways. It would suck to be kicked from a game and lose mmr because of it - and it would have to be that way otherwise it would be heavily abused for boosting… but the constant threat that you may get kicked would probably encourage you to behave better.

i think back to all the games that had kick and ban features on a per-lobby basis and I very rarely got kicked or banned from lobbies. The exception being if I tried to play dota in Wc3 - people would kick you if you had to download the map. I think there were designated lobbies for people to join and download the map so that they could show up “prepared” and not cause others to wait. Known trolls would get kicked and banned/blacklisted all of the time though.

I’m biased, I miss pre-matchmaking online gaming. Self-policed lobbies were a lot better.

Its abused bro Sometimes you play low rank csgo and you are the last guy standing 1v1, you don’t kill the enemy, then your 4 dog mates decide to kick you for that xd One of the reasons why i quit cs trash
