They’re plastic. Horrible quality.

Think the “hate” is mostly that they were so popular and widespread so sneaker heads have to hate them. These and AF1s are probably still the most common shoe I see today.

If you look up posts from 2021 these were almost universally loved around here.

I guess I just don’t understand why “everyone has them” is a reason to not like them, but everyone also has, for example, classic vans and Chuck Taylor’s, but nobody has a problem with those. It just seems kind of gatekeepy to me.
