I play this game on and off now and again, but is it worth to actually start playing again? The game looks alright but I originally quit because of the toxicity and the developers being incompetent.

I’d say it’s worth giving a try to see what you think of the combat, features and whatnot. If it turns out not to be your cup of tea, then it’s all good. The game is still as divisive as ever so it’s ultimately up to you to decide whether it’s worth sticking with for the foreseeable future.
Just do yourself a favor and play with match/team chat and stuff off if you’re playing QP and competitive (at least until you’re GM or whatever in the latter)
