So I love ARPG games but I’ve come to realize I really, really just don’t like gender-locked classes. (To be clear, this is a personal preference rather than me trying to claim one type is “good” and the other kind is “bad” or anything.) Like, it just really unexplainably bothers me that only males are wizards or only females are elves or whatever. For some general lose terms, by ‘ARPG’ I mean ‘top down kill a million monsters and get tons of loot’ type games like Diablo. ‘Not gender-locked’ can either mean that each class can be toggled between male/female at creation (like Diablo 4) or you pick one at the start and build a character as you go (like Titan quest or Grim Dawn.)

With all that out of the way, here are the types of games that fit what I’m looking for:

Diablo 4

Titan Quest

Grim Dawn

Wolcen

Undecember
