Got flamed for playing a character I’d just unlocked (been playing on and off since OW1 launch and catching up). Quickplay is supposed to be the safe place to try new heroes out. Why do people take it so seriously? Comp is there for a reason.

I swear all day the game chats for my QP games have so closely resembled my ranked games’ chats. It’s insanity.

If you care that much about your matches outcome, go queue up for comp! Let people chill in quickplay for the love of all that is crispy jesus.

Depends. If you’re playing smart but not rolling out the sick wombo combo tech’s? Fine. Are you 0/1/19? Not fine.

Proably because comp sucks and quick play is better and then people are like we need quick play seriously

Just do what I do and play QP either buzzed out of your fucking mind or with some lofi on in a Discord call with friends and forget about the other primitive creatures in your vicinity

People simply have the mentality that winning = the only way of having fun, and part of it is a bit true, right? For example, let’s say you get matched with a very young kid or a drunk person who just dies on cooldown and does nothing. That’s not gonna be a good time. Getting stomped from people who are just better than you, also not really a great time.

I don’t have that diehard mentality of QP, but I do understand why it can be frustrating to deal with. It’s just that people take it way too seriously like their life depends on it, so much so that you’ll probably come across counter picking much more often for QP.
