Yeah it was clear the team needed to figure things out post Gabe, Max, Zeller and Dipo and adding Herro and JRich back in with Jaime and Bryant as new additions. The preseason was a show case on which new role players would be signed to a standard contract, a two-way and who would be waived. Then it took a like ~7 games for us to figure out the line-ups that wouldn’t have us collapse in the 4th against other teams.
We’ve been thinking of this as running it back, but compared our last post season, this is a whole new team. Heat basketball relies a lot on team chemistry and good lineups and not “Hero ball”. It takes time y’all.
