McLeod? Thornhill? Mitchell? Ford? Fields? Hurst? Elliot? Ika? Wright? McGuire? Harris?

I’d say Za’darius Dalvin and Oko have been getting their recognition next to Myles. Delpit and our top 3 corners are notoriously lethal. Who is next best? Thornhill has been great but for my money Hurst and Harris have been fucking phenomenal. What’s your take?

Hurst is my guy for this “award.” He gets so much penetration on pass downs and really clogs up the middle on runs. He doesn’t always get the big tfl, but he is often the reason the play doesn’t work as designed for the offense, and his belly rub celebration is one of the best in sports. He is what i was hoping Perrion Winfrey was going to be. Huge addition to the d-line. Honorable mention goes to JOK. He gets love from us, but his stats and game impact are right up there with the best LB’S in the game. He is always in on every tackle and has improved his block shedding. Big impact player who I don’t think gets enough credit outside Cleveland.

Either way, I’m starting to enjoy this season more than I have since the 80s, and with Chubb out, that’s really saying something. I’m hoping we can get to at least the divisional round (maybe AFCCG even) tis year, then next year Nick can come back and we can be the 72 Dolphins. A guy can dream!
