Former Warriors GM Bob Myers was on ESPN and he said the org should be asking Embiid what he wants because ultimately this entire operation revolves around him, the org is where its at because of him (said he would ask Steph about what he wanted)
So if Embiid says he wants James Harden back (which he does, he enjoys playing with Harden) the org should ensure Harden comes back and happy to play (essentially pay him, or they should have)
I personally rather not have Harden back but there’s no clear alternative option at the moment and that’s who Embiid wants so the Sixers should’ve tried to bring James back on a 4 year deal (something that’s not a max) with the last year being a team option, but Morey/ownership seemingly did something to piss him off (apparently radio silence is what set him off who really knows though)
Video of him speaking for anyone curious: https://twitter.com/espn/status/1717314720149954853
Multiple reports have confirmed that they are doing what they are doing because Embiid OK it
We also have reports that he wants Harden back and yet isn’t getting his desire fulfilled
Embiids been the type to go with whatever the org decides no matter whether he’s happy with the decision or not
Reports also said he wasn’t happy about the Glenn firing, org did it anyway (although this was the right choice for sure)
Frankly I think Embiid should start being more assertive if the org aren’t gonna try to appeal to him a bit more, the cap place plan is all the orgs idea, where’s the compromise in that, the “in the middle” choice?
