I’ll never forget the 2007 season where the browns went 10-6 and posted some major offensive yardage. But they were 4-12 the season before and after. I’m not versed enough in football to analyze what led to the 2007 record. Can anyone give an informed analysis? I’m sure some of it was luck but you’d expect luck to get you to 7-9, etc. not 10-6.

Not a whole lot of tape on Anderson. He was a tall guy with a huge arm, and because we had Braylon, Jurevicious, Winslow, and Jamal Lewis, along with Lawrence Vickers and Cribbs, it was pretty unbelievable. Dawson was money all year making up for our mistakes. Without him it would have been a 6 win season.

But our defense was pretty rough.

We gave up a ton of easy plays. Heck, as fun as the bengals shootout was, we suuuucked on defense.

Schedule was also easy. I remember playing the Chris Wienke 49ers as the last game of the season and it was like playing a Div2 team. They were bad man.

Like, super super super bad. I remember going to that game and the radio team was talking about how we could play our 3rd string players and probably win. Those opponents were not good.
