Just curious to get some general thoughts/consensus on whether you think it was definitely the right move not to give up a future first pick and possibly Josh green(I seen that thrown around in the off-season) for a capela type of serviceable NBA C now that we know that lively can grow into that role(or maybe he’s already there and if so who knows what the ceiling is) But basically. In hindsight are you glad your mavericks didn’t give up future assets for a mid tier yet serviceable NBA centre?

Lets trade for capela again, if price is right

Okongwu extended, they look like to be in 2nd apron next year, if we can find 3rd team to take Tim/Holmes (magic, nets for example), and hawks take maxi (half capela salary and stretch 5 to help their backcourt) + 2 SRP, we have to pull the trigger

    Imagine lively-capela rotation bro, sheesh

I was always out trading a FRP and/or Green for Capela. But given how well Lively is looking so early even less.

On top of that after the small sample size of one game, THJ is showing his value coming off the bench. So rather hold off on trading him until Hardy is a more reliable option.

In summary: If Lively continues to play like last night, I would hold off until closer to the deadline before making any more moves.
