The one thing about Doubs that I have noticed is outside of being a good red zone target, he doesn’t catch a lot of passes within the numbers like we see Reed do. Doubs is either catching a pass on the sidelines (out and comeback routes) or not catching a pass at all. I would think he would be a good slant target but he still isn’t good at the release on line of scrimmage yet

Like I always keep saying…stop expecting more of the GB Packers draft picks. I know we have an emotional investment seeing these guys prosper. Has there been HoF or really good receivers that are drafted in the 4th round or later? Yes, but it is so so so rare.

Doubs is doing an amazing job for a 4th rounder….we shouldn’t be sitting on the hope he can be WR1 and expect him to be Chase, Jefferson, Adams, Evans, Brown, Diggs, etc. This team 100% needs that receiver, Jordan, like any top performing QB, needs a number 1 guy that can be relied on to run the right route, catch the ball (contested or not) and go and make a play for your QB. I saw plenty of QBs this weekend (been vigilant in watching inaccurate complete catches this year) who got bailed out by passes that if Love made would have been dropped and people would have crucified Love for not being perfect. Yet, the receiver makes the catch and the announcers are like wow, what a great catch and move on.
