VR was amazing, Red Dead 2 is a work of art, the Gran Turismo series stole weeks from my life, the Dreamcast was beautiful in every way, Quake made me realise how much I loved fast twitch sports, seeing Tekken in 3D on the PS1 for the first time blew my mind so hard I could scarcely believe it was real, the Amiga got me into computing and likely secured my career in IT, but…

Dirt Rally 2.0 is just so beautiful to look at, so smooth at a solid 60fps, and the controls on the Deck so perfectly suited to the semi-realistic physics, requiring absolute concentration to the point that you can lose yourself to a full and pure flow-state of mind in seconds after a pause / resume, whilst just sitting at your desk, or on the sofa, or on the toilet…

The graphics, the sound, the physics, the performance, the skills you have to build, the state of mind it puts you in, and all on a handheld device that handles it beautifully.

It’s gaming history, in my own canon.

Unfortunately, at 100 gb, the game takes up far too much memory. Otherwise, I completely agree with you.

And imagine this game on the OLED. Awesome

I checked steam and it says unsupported.

What am I missing, how do you get it to work?

You’re not missing anything, it still runs. Although I only today opted for Proton Experimental and it allowed 800p resolution, where as previously it was 720.

V-Sync on. Then play around with your graphics a little and you should be hitting 60 everywhere.
