no, not all good coordinators are good head coaches.
Absolutely not he’s still under contract.
Sometimes coordinators are better as coordinators, and HCs as HCs.
Campbell is a good HC because he is a motivator, and lets his coaches coach. He’s still a football guy, and still holds people accountable, but he leaves them fairly autonomous.
I’m not certain that adding the HC responsibilities would make Ben Johnson a better coach. In fact I think it would burn him out and his game plans wouldn’t be as tight.
