Arriving at Asgore’s castle in Undertale as the track of the game’s namesake began to play as you learn the story of his family. That whole scene sent the game over from really good to a masterpiece.
It’s hitting me more and more how unusual it is that I’ve never given music in any game even a bit of thought. Just something I do not notice.

The song sounds pretty nice while your inside, especially with the rain.
After some descending, you find a bench, and one of your friends are there, admiring the city from above.
After a while, you descend lower and lower.
And as you reach the streets, the rain gets louder, the music swells, and choir voices complement the song perfectly. Then, you realize where you are.
