Here are some random tidbits and facts after the NFL’s week 10 slate of games. These are pretty much made for you to read, say “Oh neat,” and forget immediately!
As always, feel free to add your own!
-Noah Brown has 382 receiving yards and 1 TD in his last 3 games. He had 241 yards in his first 4 seasons in the NFL and didn’t score his first TD until his 6th season (2022).
-Kirk Cousins has missed the last 9 quarters of football. However, he’s still T-2nd for most TD passes on the season with 18. One behind 1st (Tua/Allen)
-TJ Hockenson not only leads TE’s in receptions with 71, he’s THIRD in the NFL in receptions only behind Keenan Allen and Stefon Diggs who have 73. Kelce is 2nd among TE’s with 57.
-Keenan Allen has 895 yards on the season. His previous high was in 2017 with 1,393 yards. He’s on pace to put up 1,689 yards.
-Josh Jacobs is 3rd in the NFL is rushing yards despite having a 3.34 YPC. For comparison, Derrick Henry (2nd) and Christian McCaffery (1st) have an average yards per carry of 4.22 and 4.88 respectively. He does lead the NFL with 186 carries, however.
-As expected, the leaders for rushes 20+ yards this season are: De’Von Achane, Joshua Dobbs, Zach Moss, and Raheem Mostert who are tied for first with 6.
-Ten weeks into the NFL season, the longest play in the NFL is a 86 yard run by Breece Hall. The longest pass is 80 yards by Lamar Jackson to Gus Edwards.
-Despite his 64 receptions (10th in the NFL), Puka Nacua has just one more TD than Robbie Chosen who has one reception.
-Sam Howell has been sacked for a total loss of 317 yards. That is more than 3 football fields. Brock Purdy has only thrown for over 317 yards once in his career. Bryce Young, with a highwater mark of 247 pass yards, has not come close to throwing for the amount of yards Howell has lost on sacks alone.
-Joshua Dobbs is QB7 on the season. Last year, he was QB51 which was his best career finish until this year. His 16 total TDs is two more TDs than Joe Burrow (14)
