Hello all!

Looking to replace my air filter by myself and I live in Canada, can’t find much sources of a OEM air filter and I’ve seen a lot of mixed opinions on putting a K&N air filter in BMWs.

I currently drive a x3 m40i. I plan to keep the car stock and k&n claims a very small hp increase, if I add this filter will it be any harm to the engine in the long run (I’ve heard it’s coated with oil compared to the OEM filter).
