I built a PC a few years ago, but the biggest mistake I made was not checking the RAM compatibility after purchasing the motherboard and buying RAM according to my preference. I have a Rog strix x-570 e gaming motherboard and Gskill TridentZ 4000 mhz 4x8 32gb (F4-4000C18Q-32GTZR) ram. After installing it for the first time, I struggled a lot and the PC did not boot up. Finally, I realized that the problem was caused by the RAM, that’s why I was running the RAM at 3600 MHz. There was no problem until the beginning of this summer. One day the PC did not turn on and there was nothing I tried (bios flashback, removing the hardware and putting it back in, etc.) The last time I tried it with 2 ram instead of 4 ram and it booted. Anyway, until yesterday I only used 2 ram. However, when the PC did not start up yesterday, I tried the same steps again and when it did not boot up, I decided to try it again with only one RAM. This time it booted :D . But after I started using it with a single RAM, I can wacth video using chrome etc. without any problems, but I can’t play games, the fps drops is insane it doesnt go above 60-70 fp. Then I check the RAM usage, it doesn’t go below 70%, I’m about to go crazy. Why doesn’t my computer, which I could use with 4 RAM until the summer and then with 2 RAM, now not allow it? Can we do something from BIOS for this?
