the reason I ask is since they don’t know mark’s lineage so they have no reason to be suspicious of his loyalties like most of the main characters in the know.
from their perspective presumable it just looks like mark was the only superhero who tried to fight off Omni-Man

Probably divided. Some will judge him for being the son of Omni-Man, others will know not to judge those on their relatives and ancestors.
